SUMMARY
The Business Customer Care Representative is responsible for delivering front-line support to internal and external customers in the Health Food Store channel and for managing customer relationships across various communication channels. Additionally, this role may serve as a backup for the Integrative and Consumer Customer Care teams.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists sales managers and retail accounts with order entry, returns, new account activation, inquiries, general support, and account maintenance. This includes working with and communicating pricing and promotions.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers through consistent and professional communication across all channels, including phone, chat, fax, and email.
  • Adheres to required legal and regulatory instructions for all communications.
  • Develops and maintains strong internal and external customer relationships.  
  • Responsible for accurate, efficient, and thorough processing of all assigned interactions.
  • Reviews orders for compliance related to pricing, discounts, item numbers, etc. Identifies price discrepancies and works with the account and sales managers to resolve them.
  • Reviews applications for new accounts to determine eligibility. Facilitates account activation for qualified applicants.
  • Identifies, addresses, and resolves all issues thoroughly and efficiently.
  • Responsible for adhering to all company and department processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Accountable for meeting the established goals/metrics in all areas, such as interaction handling and adhering to processes and procedures.
  • Fosters a collaborative team environment by demonstrating flexibility and maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of the tools and technologies used for daily tasks. This includes systems that support order and return processing, promotions, interaction documentation, and the Contact Center software used to manage calls, chats, and emails.
  • Supports the Consumer and Integrative teams by providing back-up coverage when needed.

  • Must be detail oriented. 
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and one to two years of customer service experience required.
